What is COREtec?
COREtec Plus represents the next revolution in luxury vinyl flooring. COREtec Plus is a great alternative to glue down LVT, solid locking LVT, or laminate flooring. The patented construction of COREtec Plus features our innovative COREtec core structure, which is an extruded core made from recycled wood and bamboo dust, limestone, and virgin PVC. Since COREtec Plus is 100% waterproof, COREtec Plus floors can be installed in wet areas and will never swell when exposed to water. COREtec Plus is inert and dimensionally stable; it will not expand or contract under normal conditions. Further, COREtec Plus never needs expansion strips in large rooms. Each COREtec Plus plank has an attached cork underlayment for a quieter, warmer vinyl floor that is naturally resistant to odor causing mold and mildew.
COREtec is a patented, revolutionary technological advancement in Vinyl Flooring. We created a high-density, extra strong and dimensionally stable composite core using virgin polymers, recycled wood and bamboo into a waterproof core (hence the name). A luxury vinyl wear layer is then permanently bonded to this waterproof core, a concept developed and patented by USFloors creating the Original COREtec Floor.
We added cork to each plank to create COREtec Plus®.
Enjoy the look of wood or stone with the comfort of cork. By adding the cork backing, we have taken COREtec to the next step. COREtec Plus floors are quieter and warmer than ordinary LV products and require no additional underlayment. COREtec Plus flooring can be installed easily over existing hard surfaces and can even conceal imperfections in subfloors eliminating the need for expensive subfloor preparations.
